How To Gain Expected Outcomes From Poe Currency?
Path of Exile Currency Guide
Path of Exile is a dim fantasy on the web motion RPG recreation created and revealed by GGG ( Grinding Gear Games ). The recreation includes a vast on-line economic system in the planet of Wraeclast.
Orbs are the main currency in the game. Getting them in large quantities is vital for efficient playing. But how to use them properly?
Orb of Transmutation
This PoE currency item rerolls the affixes on a Normal (white) item. This is a good way to get a second chance at an affix you were hoping for but did not roll on the first try.
Alternatively, it can be used to upgrade a Magic item to a Rare item. This can be useful for items that only have two influenced modifiers.
The Regal Orb reforges a Unique item into another of the same type of item, such as a Unique Leather Belt into another Unique Leather Belt. This is a great way to improve your endgame gear and build, as it allows you to take the highest tiers of Unique affixes. It can also be used to reroll the sockets on an item, but it is usually better to use a Fusing Orb instead. Orb of Alchemy
This Orb adds a single influenced modifier to an item, and it’s extremely expensive. It’s a good choice for crafting rare items that have multiple sockets, but it’s not useful for creating gear with one socket.
Orb of Binding
Upgrades a Normal item into a Rare item with up to four linked sockets. This is a very useful Orb during league start, especially in cases where you have two different influenced items that need to be merged into a single piece of equipment.
It’s a primary trade currency for players, and it’s worth more than most other Orbs in the game. You can purchase them on the player marketplace MMOGAH, where dozens of sellers compete for your attention. They’re also often found in maps and dropped by enemies.
Orb of Vaal Implicits
The Orb of Vaal Implicits upgrades a random implicit mod on a weapon to a higher tier, which may grant significant bonuses for certain builds. It's used mostly in early game, and is often traded for Armourer's Scraps on MMOGAH.
Essentially, it's the "gamble" version of the Regal Orb. It removes one or more unwanted explicit affixes from a Magic or Rare item, allowing you to reroll the remaining ones. It's used rarely during leveling, and almost never on gear that already has two desirable affixes.
It can also be used to corrupt a skill gem, but only at a small chance and with a penalty on its level. This is an expensive option, but it can be helpful in ensuring that your gems will have the highest implicit mod values possible.
Orb of Eternal Drop
Eternal Orbs are a currency item that create an imprint of an item for later restoration. They can't be used on Fractured items. GGG disabled them game-wide seven years ago as they were far too powerful, but they have returned for the Ruthless league.
These can reroll the explicit (as opposed to implicit) modifiers of an item, most often used on uniques. They are extremely expensive, but can be very valuable if you get an exceptionally high or perfectly rolled rare item.
These can be used to fill Delirium Rewards at twice the normal rate. This will make it very fast to reach the highest possible value. It is generally used during the midgame or late-game as you approach endgame. It can also be sold to vendors for a good amount of GCP.
Orb of Chaos
Unlike the other currency items in this list, this is the most common in-game item. It is essentially the "gold standard" of currency in the player-driven economy and the "dollars" of PoE.
It rerolls the modifiers on a rare item, ranging from prefixes to suffixes and adding a random affix. This is the most valuable of all the Orbs in-game, as it can substantially increase the value of your equipment. Using this orb can reroll the item's affixes, as well as the number of sockets it has (up to 6). The more sockets an item has, the more support gems you can place in it and thus its overall damage output. These are often used to upgrade a lower-tier weapon or piece of armor into a higher tier item that can be traded for more Orbs.
